Wang Zhan Ping stared at the big U.S. flag on the wall at Easton Police Department headquarters and snapped a couple of shots with his digital camera.
It was the 9/11 memorial flag, inscribed with the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died in the terrorist attacks, including Easton native Peter Hanson, his wife and young daughter.
His eyes moistened and his expression grew sorrowful as he read the names. He speaks little English, but the look on his face showed that even people from as far as China have America on their minds.
